An Endorsement of Our Expertise

AMPED goes far beyond our industry’s benchmarks for professionalism and responsibility. Our best practices, developed over decades of association management success, are backed by our teams’ commendable range of certifications.

Certifications

We constantly encourage and support our staff in seeking new professional certifications. Below are some of the standout credentials and certificates that the AMPED team has earned.

American Society of Association Executives

The Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to managing an association in today’s challenging environment. Nearly a quarter of AMPED staff have earned this distinguished recognition and include "CAE" in their credentials.

The ASAE Fellows program is among ASAE’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who have significantly impacted the association community through exemplary volunteer service and leadership, extraordinary accomplishments, or other major contributions to ASAE and the profession of association management. The ASAE Fellows program is an honorary recognition bestowed on less than 1 percent of ASAE’s membership. It is also a call to continued leadership and service. Lynda J. Patterson, FASAE, CAE proudly represents AMPED and the association management profession as an ASAE Fellow.

Certified Meeting Professional

The Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) program enhances the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals, promotes the status and credibility of the meeting profession, and advances uniform standards of practice. A CMP designation shows that an individual conveys expertise in planning, managing, and executing successful meetings and events.

Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional

A nationally recognized CNAP designation certifies the expertise and commitment of nonprofit financial managers and accounting professionals. The program teaches best practices for critical skills specific to nonprofit organizations.

Qualified Association Specialist

The Qualified Association Specialist (QAS) Certificate Program presents a comprehensive overview of the many facets of working in, or with, an association – from the legal and financial “business model” of associations’ unique governance/volunteer structure, to understanding the key principles of membership, communications, events,  non-dues revenue programs, public policy and more. Association professionals who complete the program strengthen their knowledge and skills in association management, break free of departmental “silos”, become more valuable team members, and master the fundamentals needed for career advancement.
